Casa Sole e Gioia – charmingly restored holiday house for two in the centre of the picturesque mountain village Forza d’Agro, with a fabulous sea view
Our holiday house Casa Sole e Gioia is an ideal location for an enjoyable holiday in Sicily. It is a beautifully restored historical house in the old village centre. It is an authentic village on the east coast of Sicily, not far from popular beaches and the vibrant life of Taormina.
Our house has two floors. The bedroom and the bathroom with a shower are on the upper floor. The ground floor consists of a cosy fireplace/TV corner with satellite TV, a DVD player and a stereo system, as well as a kitchen and dining space. From here there is direct access to the spacious balcony and an outdoor bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. No matter what room of the house you are in, there is a great sea view. The house has air conditioning throughout and there is high-speed free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is small, but even includes an automatic coffee machine. There is no dishwasher. You can use the fireplace on request.
It has a ca. 13m² balcony with a fabulous view of the sea, the mainland and the village itself. There are sun loungers, a parasol and a seating group with a table for the balcony. There are public parking spaces in front of and below the house.
There are restaurants and shops just a three-minute walk away. Trip destinations nearby include the Alcantara gorge, Etna, Taormina, the Aeolian Islands, Messina and Catania. Forza d’Agro is a charming and picturesque little village above the Ionian coast, which has preserved a lot of its originality. Fabulous views of the surroundings (sea, Etna, Taormina, the Italian mainland, the mountains) can be enjoyed from almost everywhere in the little village. Despite its quiet and peaceful location, there are restaurants, bars and essential shopping facilities. The proximity to Taormina and the popular beaches at Letojani and Sant’Alessio make it a very attractive destination. It is ideal for all those who would like to benefit from tourist amenities, whilst still enjoying peace and quiet. It is with good reason that it was a film set for The Godfather.
