Saint Jean de Maruejols, located near Barjac, Ardèche, and the Cèze river in Provencal Gard, hosts this charming holiday cottage featuring a private heated pool, offering stunning views. This serene and scenic cottage provides an ideal base to explore nearby attractions like the Vallée de la Cèze, Gorges de l’Ardèche, the Cevennes, and Nimes.

The cottage includes an open living area housing a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities opening onto a South-facing terrace. The dining area has a table and chairs, while the sitting area offers a comfortable sofa bed, and a decorative fireplace. The attic bedrooms are on the first floor.

Outdoor features include a South-facing terrace with a pergola and a West-facing terrace with tables and chairs. A private secured heated pool (10 m x 4 m) is surrounded by a terrace.
The independent cottage is situated in the heights of Saint Jean de Maruejols near Barjac in the middle of an agricultural area of fields and vineyards. The village and all convenience stores are at +/- 2 km. You can swim in the rivers " La Tave” and “La Cèze” and the “Gorges de l’Ardèche are also nearby. The area of Barjac (between the Cevennes and the “Vallée de la Cèze”) has a nice historical heritage and is a perfect location for nature lovers and walks. In the area you can visit the villages of Barjac, Lussan, Tharaux, Monclus, Bessas, the city of Uzès, les "Cascades du Sautadet", les "Concluses de Lussan", Gorges de l'Ardèche", "la vallée de la Cèze", and of course the famous "Pont du Gard".

Please note: The attic bedrooms have a low ceiling, and the steep staircase might not be suitable for elderly or mobility-restricted individuals. Barbecues are prohibited during the dry season (June 13 - September 15), and an electric grill is provided instead. The house features a single air conditioner for the entire property. The owner occasionally resides in an independent house on the property, responsible for garden and pool maintenance.
