One of these houses is Sa Barca. It was renovated a few years ago and converted into a small, simple and rather traditional holiday home. In the course of the renovation, the living space was extended to 50 m² and beautiful terraces round off the property. The roof of the house has been partially converted into a spectacular roof terrace, from which you have a particularly impressive view of the lagoon that extends directly in front of it. As the terraces are located below, they offer direct access to the sea, whose sandy seabed is visible through the crystal-clear water. You can constantly see small schools of fish. It is really worth snorkelling in Cala Santanyí. There is a lot to discover along the cliffs. It's as if you've booked the entire Mediterranean as part of your Villa Sa Barca. The small property is located at the foot of a larger estate on the hillside. Pines and palm trees grow here. Access to the property is via a staircase that leads from the road above to the property by the sea. As you enter the property via the stairs, you first reach the aforementioned roof terrace of Sa Barca. From here, we continue down a few steps until we reach the ground floor of the house. Here there is an additional terrace with access to the house. However, a few more steps are required. These lead down to the third, lower terrace; this is the terrace that provides access to the water. This terrace does not have terrace slabs like the others, but natural rock stones.

Enter the small living and dining area from several sides. The combined living and dining area in turn leads to the small but well-kept and fully equipped kitchen or to the sleeping area, which houses both bedrooms. The villa's only bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin is also located here. The photos of the property show a third bedroom, which is very small. During your stay, this third small bedroom can still be very practical depending on the composition of your group. The house has been renovated with traditional values in mind. It is not pompously renovated on the outside, like many other villas by the sea, but exudes its original, rustic and practical charm. Its incredible location by the sea is the greatest treasure that Sa Barca can offer its guests.

The fine sandy bays of the Balearic Islands are among the cleanest and most turquoise-coloured beaches in the entire Mediterranean. Those in the south-east of Mallorca are the most beautiful. One of them is Cala Santanyí. Like a fjord, it stretches several hundred metres into the island; at the same time, it offers an unobstructed view of the sea from its sandy beach. Here the sand gently sinks into the sea. The small cala is more of a lagoon, enchantingly embedded in a rocky coast lined with pine and palm trees. What you have here is a small natural harbour that has always been used by local fishermen to build boats and catch fish. Over the years, various small fishermen's huts have sprung up right by the sea. Nowadays, most of them are either unused or have been demolished, but some of them have survived and adorn the coast today. With whitewashed façades, traditional monk-and-nun roof tiles, green or blue painted shutters and direct access to the lagoon.

This former fisherman's house, enchantingly situated directly on Cala Santanyí, is called Sa Barca and has private access to the turquoise-coloured, sandy lagoon directly in front of it. It sits at the foot of an 800 m² plot of land covered in pine and palm trees. From here you can actually swim to the sandy beach. You can reach bars, restaurants and supermarkets very quickly on foot.
