Cottage with open kitchen in combination with dining room, large living room with access to the covered and open terrace, where you can enjoy the sun to the fullest and, if it gets too hot, cool off under the outdoor shower. On cool summer evenings you can sit here together comfortably at the barbecue. Furthermore, the house has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. For more than 100 years Odsherred has been a popular vacation destination for the Danes. The beaches, the art and the varied landscape magically attract vacationers. Odsherred is surrounded by the Isefjord, Kattegat and Sejerø Bay and the reflection of the sun gives the area a light that can be found in few other places in Denmark.
The landscape of Odsherred is unique - and crucial to Odsherred today. That is why Odsherred is a Geopark. Experience the Ice Age landscape on the Gravhøj route and visit the Hempel Glass Museum, the Odsherred Museum, which has a copy of the sun chariot found at Trundholm Mose. Næsholm Castle is located on a rock in Lake Nygård between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. The nature school offers many activities such as everything good from the from the sea, expeditions in the forest, butterfly safari to troll and fox tours. The children will love to see the many fire engines at the Odsherred Fire Museum or take a seal safari from Rørvig harbor. Close to Sommerland, three golf courses, the 13th century Dragsholm Castle, where legend has it that the white ghost haunts, uniquely and beautifully situated on Nekselø Bay, where you can also expect a culinary experience with local products, or visit the many art galleries that are characteristic of Odsherred. The town of Nykøbing Sjælland is also worth a visit with numerous stores, several supermarkets and a beautiful pedestrian area with stores and cafes, or enjoy the atmosphere at the harbor in Rørvig, where you can buy and enjoy freshly caught and smoked fish while the children catch crabs on the pier.
