Small but nice and really cozy are the living spaces, with an open fireplace in the living room and a vine-covered pergola in front of the kitchen. And when you open the windows from the bedroom in the morning ? Pure Tuscany! A vacation home ideal for retreat, rest and relaxation: bring all the books you couldn't read during the year ? here you will find the necessary rest: on the deck chair by the pool, in the shade of the terrace with a glass of wine or on the comfortable sofa by the fireplace. Directly from the house you can walk or hike through picturesque landscapes; for bikers there are bike paths through the Chiana Valley or around Lake Trasimeno. At only 850 meters, easily reachable on foot, you will find one of the best restaurants in the area (owned by the house owner), where you can taste the delicious local dishes and wines. What more could you ask for? Other destinations in the area: Cortona of course, the imposing Etruscan city with its nice main street that invites you to stroll and wander; Arezzo with its worth seeing old town, the Piazza Grande and the frescoes of Piero della Francesca in the church of San Francesco (25 km), the medieval Montepulciano (30 km) or the charming renaissance town of Pienza with breathtaking views over the Orcia valley (40 km); the Lago Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (20 km), which are worth to be discovered by you. Or Siena with the most beautiful square in the world, the "Campo", easily reachable in an hour drive (80 km), as well as the Umbrian capital Perugia, also of Etruscan origin (55 km).
