Fully fenced mediterranean stone villa
Fully fenced Mediterranean stone villa, built in 1900, modernized in 1999, with a private swimming pool and 1500 square meters of lush gardens (pets welcome) This generously laid out, three-storey holiday villa is situated on a gentle hill in a quiet village near Poreč. It's just a ten minutes drive from Poreč and the sea, but far away from erratic coastal tourism - ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday with friends, children and pets. In the immediate vicinity are cycling and hiking trails, in the village and in the surrounding area known vineyards. Three kilometers away is the well-known cave Baredine and the associated tractor-open-air museum. Popular beaches such as Plava laguna, Zelena laguna and the beach of Poreč are ten minutes away by car.
The villa faces south and has terraces on each floor with distant views of the western coast. Mediterranean plants characterize the large garden (1500 square meters), particularly suitable for children, because it is fully fenced. Your pets will feel comfortable there too. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers. There are three parking spaces available to guests on the property.
The Mediterranean stone house, built in 1900, modernized in 1999, is partly furnished with traditional Istrian furniture. It spreads across three floors, one bedroom on each: One is furnished with a 180 x 200 cm double bed, the other two each have two 90 x 200 cm single beds that can be pushed together to make a double bed. The rooms are simple and functional, combining rural and artistic style. In addition to the three bedrooms there are two bathrooms, a spacious living room on the first floor, a large, fully equipped kitchen with a dining room on the ground floor, from which you enter the garden. The villa also has a small reference library.
Poreč and nearby towns such as Rovinj, Motovun or Višnjan are known for their historic buildings. The center of Poreč is under the protection of UNESCO. Post office, church, school and a small shop are in the next village Nova (2 km). The vegetable market and a fish hall can be found in Poreč. There are also large supermarkets, medical and veterinary ambulances and pharmacies.
