As reasonably priced alternative to expensive and noisy hotels in Basle, as commodious alternative to muggy and narrow bed and breakfast places, as quiet alternative to the noise of the city and its hustle and bustle, and as a "green" alternative close to Rhine and Black Forrest you will find a place with high standard, where you can spread out and enjoy yourself. Make yourself at home! Regardless, if it is a city break, the eagerly awaited vacation, simply a weekend for two, a longer stay for business or even a month or two until you find your own apartment – We will make every effort that you will dislike leaving us at the end. We offer you two generous furnished vacation apartments with high standards. Phone, wireless network and on premise parking lots are free of charge available to you. If you prefer indoor parking for your car, you may use a garage for 10 EUR/night. On request you may use two bicyles (for free) to explore our region and make use of our beautiful backyard with lawn and BBQ.

Our lavishly appointed bright studio apartment with spacious 345ft² is waiting for you! Personally, we are setting great store by first-class and practicable equipment – Quality that you will cherish and enjoy! The accommodation is located at the ground floor of our house facing to the street. It is comfortably accessible through a separate entrance just five steps upstairs from street level. You enter a little cloak room where you can leave your coat. From there you access the studio and the bathroom. A kitchenette can be found in a segregated area of the studio, just behind the comfy dining area. The lavishly appointed and spacious studio – the main room of the apartment – offers you different areas. An extra large and robust california king size bed (1.80m x 2.20m, 72in x 87in) made of solid wood with allergy-friendly synthetic bedding and eudermic 100%-cotton bed linen will account for your restful sleep at night. Two bedside lamps with touch-sensitive switches will provide a pleasant light during reading before you fall asleep. And a modern digital radio clock will take care that you awake softly in time at the next morning. Have a quiet breakfast using the comfortable dining area. A modern dining table, which can be extended for guests, offers enough space to start the day with fresh toast and freshly brewed coffee and to finish off the evening with a rustic dinner. There is nothing that will keep you from cooking yourself a delicious 3-course menu. On request we will be happy to make more chairs available for your guests. A high chair for a little child can be arranged as well. A small desk offers enough space for your laptop that you may connect with the internet for free via wireless LAN. We have a high-speed DSL internet connection. Check your emails or connect with your company's intranet via VPN. A modern cordless phone will let you stay in touch with your friends and colleagues. No need to hurry – calls are free for you when calling fixed networks in EU countries and Switzerland, and even when calling North America. Homesickness should not arise. A fixed large hotel safe protects your valuables, your laptop or even confidential files in a folder. When everything is done, take it easy and relax... Enjoy a good movie in High Definition quality, your MP3s or a good DVD. We offer you satellite TV (Astra), many of the channels in Full High Definition quality. The television is also connected with the internet, and there are many stations that offer access to their media centers. That way you will hardly miss a program, because you just watch it later when you have the time. Also browsing the internet is possible via television. All inclusive. In a segregated area in the back of the studio you can find a well-equiped kitchenette, which provides everything that you will need for your daily preparation of meals, regardless if it is a delicious breakfast or if you are cooking a gourmet dinner for your friends. The only thing you may miss is a dishwasher due to space limitations. Details: Refrigerator with freezer, electric stove with 4 ceran plates and baking-oven, extractor hood (air goes outside), automated coffee machine with pads, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster on the table, microwave with defrost function, cookware (pots and frying pans), tableware and cutlery for 4 people, high quality kitchen knife block, basic equipment of cooking utilities, special cooking utilities on request, two separated garbage bins. The bathroom with shower and WC is small, yet fine. The shower has two doors at its corner. The shower head we are using turns showering into a wellness experience. Try it! The room is optimally supplied with daylight through a large window (opal glass), but has also roller shutters. Several halogen spots in the ceiling and extra light from the front ensure that the bathroom and you are optimally illuminated also at night. The bathroom provides also a powerful heating, so that you can quickly increase the air temperature, for example just before taking a shower. A quiet fan ensures that you feel comfortable in the bathroom at any time and that unpleasant odors volatilize quickly. You can switch it on manually, but it starts also automatically when humidity increases during showering. This creates an optimal indoor climate for you. You may also hang your towels to dry in the bathroom. A little cupboard provides space for your travel accessories. Two toothbrush tumblers made of glass and a modern hair dryer are at your disposal. And two outlets in convenient height provide power (220V) for an electric shaver. A laundry machine is not available in the apartment, but you may use the one in our basement on demand for 3 EUR/load (incl. detergent and softener). All windows of the apartment can be fully opened or just tilted. There are roller shutters available, which can be fully closed to protect your privacy.
