Hayna, which belongs to Herxheim, has about 1300 inhabitants. For centuries, the village was dominated by farmers and its wide village street with respectable half-timbered houses and tobacco drying sheds still testify to a small prosperity. The special feature of the village is its tobacco sheds, which enclose the village center like a city wall. The surrounding countryside is flat and offers excellent and well-developed cycling paths as far as Alsace, or through seas of vines as far as the Palatinate Forest. Along the well-maintained paths are wine taverns and inns that invite you to stop for a bite to eat. The southern Palatinate with its good climate is spoiled by the sun. It is also called the Tuscany of Germany.

You live on the upper floor of a two-family house in a comfortable 3-room apartment with 2 balconies.Hayna with its cultural-historical tobacco sheds.

The day can be started with a cozy breakfast on the balcony and... end in the evening with a glass of Palatinate wine!
