The Gîte Chez Marie welcomes you for a stay in the Montagne Noire audoise in a very rich tourist area with various places to visit during your stay. Less than half an hour from the gîte you will have the possibility to discover several attractions of the region: the book village of Montolieu to walk through its typical streets or to enter one of the bookshops of the village, the Prise d'Alzeau which gave birth to the Canal du Midi and its famous Cascade, the unavoidable medieval city of Carcassonne, the Cathar castles of Lastours or Saissac or the magnificent landscapes of the surrounding area where numerous hikes and bike rides are possible. In addition, there is a farm in the hamlet where you can see the animals and buy local produce. At the gîte you can stroll and relax on the private south-facing terrace with a beautiful view of the garden, garden furniture and a barbecue are at your disposal. The gîte is also sensitive to ecology and respect for the environment with a solar hot water house and a pellet boiler as well as a rainwater recovery tank for the garden which also has Oyas for watering. There is private parking inside the property.
The gîte is adjoined to the owners' house and comprises a living room with a comfortable 140cm rapido sofa bed, a dining table and a TV, a kitchen equipped with a microwave grill and a dishwasher. The living room has direct access to the terrace of the gîte. A separate shower room with a walk-in shower with seat, handrail and an additional heater. A bedroom with bunk beds and a blackboard that children will love, the room is also equipped with a TV with a DVD player. WIFI connection in the gîte. All-inclusive services (sheets, towels and end-of-stay cleaning at 30€ included in the rental price). Umbrella bed available to welcome a baby as well as a booster seat.
