On the road to the Great Lakes

Welcome to the Tarn du Sud, its calm and its extraordinary variety of landscapes.
The La Fontguy gîte is located in the countryside, 2 km from the village and 15 minutes from Castres and Mazamet.

Its terrace and shaded park invite you to relax. But if you like to discover and visit, the causses, the lakes (fishing, swimming, water sports...), the forests, scrublands, caves, the Black Mountain, or even the Sidobre will enchant you. Magnificent small villages, the Pays de Cocagne and why not Albi, Carcassonne and even a day on the shores of the Mediterranean (100 km) await you. There are numerous museums in the land of Jaurès, Toulouse Lautrec, the Cathars and the former world capital of leftovers (Mazamet). Nature, art and history are there!

** THE GITE **

Old farmhouse shared between the gîte and the owners' house, separated by half a floor. The gîte is located on the north side, and the owners' house on the other side, below, facing south, therefore not overlooked.

Independent entrance, not overlooked, with access path from the private road. Access to the gîte via an exterior staircase opening onto the terrace. The gîte and the terrace are then on one level.

- Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, mini-oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, filter coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer, blender and raclette grill
- Living room open to the kitchen, with sofa, TV and DVD player, board games, books and open fireplace for the pleasure of a fire (wood provided)
- Bedroom with 160x200cm bed
- Second bedroom with a 140x190cm double bed and a 90cm single bed
- Bathroom with bathtub, single sink and washing machine. Independent toilet

Outside, a beautiful shaded park of almost 2000m² with garden furniture. The lower terrace of the cottage is available with a sink, charcoal barbecue and wood for the fireplace.

You can park in front of the gîte. Baby equipment available. Central heating (the cottage is very well heated).
