The beautiful vacation home on the peninsula is surrounded by forests and heather carpets. The landscape is characterized by high hills, deep ravines with dense oak growth and steep slopes sloping down to the coast. On the peninsula, there are several marked trails through the partly protected landscape and Lovns Lake with its extensive bird reserve is also located here. The area around Skive is reminiscent of a rich past, including the Hessel manor dating from around 1391, which is now home to an agricultural museum with changing exhibitions and events. From the atmospheric marina in Hvalpsund, you can take the ferry to Salling. The Ertebølle Stone Age Center also tells the story of life and nature in Ertebølle 6-7000 years ago. Experience the coast in the Skive area, where beautiful, child-friendly and particularly peaceful beaches beckon.
