At the bottom of the valley flows a river. That's where we set down our suitcases, in the Durencuse valley, surrounded by mountains and forests. Between the Sidobre massif, with its strange and legendary shapes, and the Monts de Lacaune, ideal for hiking, fishing and strolling through the woods in search of porcini mushrooms. Here, peace and nature reign supreme.
Located in the Haut-Languedoc Natural Park, at the gateway to the Sidobre, on a 2-hectare property bordered by a stream.
** THE GITE + THE CARAVAN **
For 4 people, 2 couples or a small family, the Terra Bosca gîte and caravan are made for you!
The gîte
The 80m² gîte for 2 people is located at the entrance to the property (ref. G1677 on Gîtes de France).
Fully equipped, it offers an intimate space with a master suite (bed 160/200), a reading area on the mezzanine and the possibility of sharing convivial moments, all together, in the large main room.
It has its own terrace with wooden armchairs for lounging and a picnic table for getting together.
Between the gîte and the roulotte you'll also find a small outdoor lounge under the trees.
The Roulotte (ref. G1858 on Gîtes de France)
It is accessible by a small forest path, which climbs a little, about fifty metres from the car park and the gîte, right in the heart of the forest on an enclosed plot of land. There are no neighbours around, apart from the trees!
From the terrace-balcony, you enter a cosy living area with a small, fully-equipped kitchen. Behind the curtains is a raised alcove bed (140/190), with a small window overlooking the forest.
There is a shower room with dry toilet and shower, also behind a curtain. We recommend using Ecocert® products to respect the surrounding environment (grey water filtered with a natural well). The kitchen sink should be used for washing up in the morning and evening.
You can enjoy your morning coffee (or tea) on the terrace, where there is a round table with chairs, wooden armchairs and a barbecue.
