Fancy a short stroll through the town to go shopping or to enjoy the (artistic) delights of the creative cuisine in the harbour of Sal de Coco? The best way to leave the house is on foot; you can park your hire car in the garage and on the street in front of the house without any worries. The stylish Colonia Beach House with its spacious and well-padded lounge terrace puts you right on the beach, even if the protective concrete wall is too high to jump over and land directly on the sand. You have to go out through the side door and walk through the green areas. This definitely ensures that you have plenty of privacy as you lie comfortably under the parasol and toast the yachts anchored in the blue sea. Even if your back is turned to the water, you can watch the action in the bay reflected in the huge glass façade, which separates the indoor and outdoor areas with sliding doors. And which conveys the waterfront feeling ...

A (purely decorative) fireplace corner, sofas, a flat-screen TV, the dining table and the open-plan mini-kitchen present themselves as an elegant unit and offer plenty of space for all guests. But with such a wide choice of cafés and (fish) restaurants nearby, you will certainly enjoy being served by someone else from time to time. The subtle colour scheme of the two levels, connected by a staircase and lift, makes the fantastic sea view seem even more intense. The master suite, located above the communal area, offers the same view, whether you want to enjoy it from your bed or while taking a bubble bath in the free-standing bathtub. Three further double bedrooms on the other side including two twin beds, ideal for children have to make do with the view to the front of the house but also have the luxury of their own bathroom with shower Rinse the sand out of your hair quickly and get ready to go out. The glass balcony on the upper floor facing the beach, which can be seen in the pictures, belongs to another apartment that is not rented out for holidays.

While you are active, your hire car will be happy to take a break: experienced treasure hunters can dive down to a Roman galley on the seabed. Platja d'es Dolç, approx. 2 km away, is extremely family-friendly with crystal-clear water, a shallow sandy beach and a safe swimming area thanks to the offshore island of Na Guardis. Be sure to visit the nearby visitor centre of the Cabrera marine reserve with its aquariums. You can take a ferry to the goat island of the same name. You can easily cycle the 6 km to Ses Salines to discover the pink-coloured lagoons where salt is harvested in the traditional way. Speaking of breaks: the palm-fringed harbour promenade is just a stone's throw from the Beach House. Every Thursday evening in summer, a tapas tour takes you through various localities.

Beach fun in a class of its own on the Platja des Port! The metre-high glass façade of the modern Colonia Beach House reflects the sea and the sand makes its way up to the lounge terrace. On the edge of Colònia de Sant Jordi, which is very hip for water sports enthusiasts, many things are right on the doorstep: the harbour, shopping facilities and recommended restaurants. Other playas such as Can Curt and the idyllic Platja de es Dolç sweeten your holiday in the truest sense of the word; Ses Salines and Santanyí are worthwhile excursion destinations nearby.
