Possibilities for hiking, swimming in the small lake, having a barbecue at the creek 'Lais da Pesch', mountainbiking, skiing or cross-country skiing are just in front of the door step. 
 
For up to 11 persons the big, light and fully developed flat with an individual ambiance has got everything you need for recreative holidays: aside from the three individual rooms, the kitchen with a dishwasher, two bathrooms, two balconies both with beautiful panoramas, that invite you for a rest on different times of the day, the livingroom with a wood stove and a sunny gallery that goes over two stories and shows the original beam construction of the roof. It is a Non-smoker-flat of aprox. 100 squaremeters size.

Should you want to come with UP TO 13 PERSONS or like to have an extra room for some more privacy, you can rent ‘the Studio’ on the ground floor in addition: a two person bedroom with an own shower bath (no kitchen). Rented in addition to the upper flat it costs 300 Fr. extra per week plus 6 Fr. daily for heater & electricity and 40 Fr. for the final cleaning; the rest of the additional charges are the same as for the upper flat. Please note that it is possible that there are other guests staying in the room next to the one on the ground floor. 

Exceptionally you can also rent ‘the Studio’ alone. If you want that please contact the landlady.

There is one parking place for the flat and one for the room on the ground floor. One of them is in front of the house and the other a short walking distance in the village.

Moreover you have a room for skiing shoes, another one for skis and similar things and a third one with a pay washing machine for the guests of the whole house.

Ftan is a very popular, calm and picturesque holiday resort placed on a sunnyterrace in 1650 meters over sea level. No through-going traffic. Farmer lifestyle. Shops for everyday normal needs and some resaurants are given. Milk, sausage and cheese are directly available from the farm in the neighborhood. It takes 5 minutes to get to the ski lift which takes you straight to the skiing area. Scuol-Tarasp, 6 kilometers from Ftan has got a train station and offers a wide range of additional restaurants, bars and shopping and leisure facilities as e.g. the open air bath, the skating rink and the wellness bath with sauna and Irish bath. From Ftan Scuol is easily reached by bus and walking.

ADDITION / EXPLANATION on the ADDITIONAL COSTS:
# PAY ATTENTION, in the calculation on this site there might be 2 MISTAKES:
- The ‘additional occupancy surcharge’ is possibly TOO HIGH CALCULATED. Here on the website the calculation of occupancy with more than 6 people includes ALL people. However, the surcharge of CHF 10 per night and person from the 7th person on, applies ONLY to people aged 12 and older. Children under 12 are free.
- Also in the calculation of the tourist tax on this portal is a mistake. It is also calculated for children under 12. The tourist tax is ONLY charged by the municipality for PERSONS 12 YEARS OR OLDER. Children under 12 are free.
# WLAN 25 CHF once-only per object and stay. The OPTION for it is only given, till chosen for the first time. For all following stays the use of WLAN is assumed, because the password will have been revealed then.
# Two towels are included in the bed linen rental price (optional, CHF 20 per person). These should only be used in the apartment. For visits to the public baths or the lake, please bring your own towels. If you bring your own bed linen, please also bring your own towels.
# Heating costs & electricity for the upper apartment is been charged as a flat-rate for up to 6 people CHF 25 per day for 6 people. From the seventh person on there is an additional fee of CHF 5 per person and night (also children). If the room and bathroom on the ground floor are rented as well, CHF 10 per day for up to two people will be charged.
(IMPORTANT: In the months of June to September, heating and electricity are not charged as a flat-rate, but are billed according to usage.)
# The rental costs for 12 and 13 people are 160-300 francs higher than stated in the calculation because the double room on the ground floor is also rented.
# Final cleaning: CHF 160 is for up to 6 people, each additional person (including children) costs CHF 10 more. Surcharge of CHF 40 for departures on Sundays or public holidays.
# Wood for the chimney is available at the local store.
# Pets: Surcharge per pet 5 Fr. per day. Additionally: one-time surcharge for final cleaning 20.00 Fr.

Other leisure facilities: Ski and Chair lift at 5 minutes walking distance. Trottinett rental at station Motta Naluns top station. Rock climbing spot in Ardez at 6 km, small Sea at 8 km and a high rope and climbing park at 13 km distance.                                                                                    In Scuol at 6 km distance and easily reachable by public transport: bike rental, open air pool, covered pool, wellness bath Bogn Engadina with sauna and Irish Bath, sports facilities Trü with miniature golf, basketball ground, tennis, golf, horse riding, paragliding, rafting, angling, ice skating ground, among other activities

Excursion possibilities: Meran (Südtirol), Landeck, Tirol, St.Moritz oder Davos are all reachable in 1 to 2 hours.
