“Salo liegt direkt am Ufer des Gardasees. An der Promenade kann man den herrlichen Ausblick genießen und hat eine Vielzahl von Restaurants, Eiscafés und anderen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zur Auswahl. Bezaubernd ist auch die historische Altstadt. “Salo ist ein wundervoller Ort, der touristisch nicht so überlaufen ist wie die Ostseite des Sees, oder einige andere Orte (z.B. Limone). Man bekommt noch das italienische Leben mit.
Abends kann man an der schönen Promenade spazieren gehen. Es gibt einige schöne Badeabschnitte, wie aber fast überall am Gardasee üblich mit Kieselsteinen, oder Gras.
